INVESTING IN YOUR SKILLS
At UL Student Life, we are dedicated to investing in our students by providing opportunities for upskilling and personal growth. Each year, we engage with over 1,000 students who volunteer their time in leadership roles, such as class representatives, student council members, and participants in clubs and societies. Recognising the challenges of gathering people for in-person training, we decided to launch “Leaders for Life” an online training and development hub.
The success of this has inspired us to expand our offerings by adding programs like “Get the Edge” a leadership programme for all students. Through these initiatives, we aim to inspire you to pursue opportunities available to you on campus and are committed to empowering you to reinvest your skills and knowledge back into our vibrant campus community.
We recognise that you have stepped out of the crowd and put yourself forward to take up a role of responsibility and we wish to reward you for that. It is our intention to provide you with the emotional and communication skills for you to lead others effectively and create a positive culture on campus.
